Kara Schoeman is a fourth year BA Fine Art student enrolled at the University of the Free State. She works mostly with clay, glass, video art and interactive video installations as mediums.

She was awarded as best 2014 second year Fine Art student at the UFS and the year thereafter as best 2015 third year Fine Art student, along with receiving the best overall Art History and Visual Culture student award at the UFS.  

She is currently working as a student assistant at the Fine Art Department at the University of the Free State and also as a student assistant at the Johannes Stegmann Gallery in Bloemfontein.
